Case study · appdevelopmentcostcalculator.com

A new domain to a live, verified product in under 22 hours.

The problem. People asking what an app costs to build usually get either an agency's sales funnel or a guess. Nobody showed the hours behind the number, or how AI coding tools change them.

What we built. A calculator that prices an app from the features a buyer can describe. It prints two columns side by side: the hours to build it with AI coding tools, and what a typical agency quotes. Each column comes from its own tables, every rate is sourced and dated, and the guide pages around it print the same engine's figures.

How we knew it was right. A verification gate runs 87,048 checks against the engine the site uses. On its first run it found a label in our own model that disagreed with its numbers. We fixed it in a separate, labelled change before any reader reported it.

It is live. Run it yourself.

Our own estate

Hundreds of live sites, built and run by the same method.

Most are cost and pricing references: what a cloud provider charges to move data out, what a monitoring tool costs at a given volume, what an app costs to build. Each is a small product with its own sources and its own record of corrections.
