Who we are
Digital Signet Limited (company number 16414164, registered in England and Wales) is the controller of personal data processed through this site. Registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. For any privacy question, email privacy@digitalsignet.com.
What we process and why
The site has no forms, accounts or newsletter. This is everything it processes:
Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4: _ga, _ga_*)
PurposeCounting visits and seeing which pages are read, in aggregate.
BasisConsent. The analytics tag is not loaded unless you choose Allow in the banner.
RetentionUser-level data 14 months, event-level data 2 months (GA4 settings).
IP address and request details
PurposeDelivering the page and protecting the site from abuse, at Cloudflare's network edge.
BasisLegitimate interests (security and operation of the site).
RetentionNot stored by us. Cloudflare processes request logs under its own terms.
Emails and calls you send us (name, contact details, what you write)
PurposeReplying to you and, if you engage us, doing the work.
BasisLegitimate interests in answering a direct enquiry; contract once an engagement starts.
RetentionClosed enquiries up to 24 months, then deleted. Engagement records as long as the law requires for business records.
Changing your analytics choice
Your choice is stored in your browser. To change it, clear this site's stored data in your browser settings and reload the page; the banner will ask again.
Who else handles the data
Google (analytics, only with your consent), Cloudflare (hosting and network delivery) and Microsoft (our email). Some of these providers process data outside the UK under the safeguards UK law requires, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or adequacy regulations.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, its correction or deletion, a restriction of its use, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email privacy@digitalsignet.com; we reply within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
